ScottCare's CardioView suite adds ambulatory arrhythmia capability


ScottCare, a non-invasive cardiology device developer, has launched its TeleSentry multi-parameter ambulatory monitoring capability for integration into its CardioView Dx suite--a cardiovascular diagnostic technology.

According to the Cleveland-based company, TeleSentry wirelessly transmits patient ECG data through cellular networks to enable a quicker analysis of real-time patient data. TeleSentry uses an atrial fibrillation (AF) algorithm to combine identification methods that help monitor three-lead, five-lead or 12-lead ECGs.

The company said that the technology reduces the need for manual data transfer. Additionally, TeleSentry can determine whether intervention is necessary in patients and provides ambulatory monitoring and diagnostics for managing and treating bradycardia, tachycardia, pause and AF.

ScottCare said that TeleSentry can allow for 30 days of patient data to be analyzed and integrated to its Holter analysis system, part of its CardioView Dx suite.
