QPID Health, a Boston-based healthcare information technology company, has announced the availability of its new QPID Groupers content for Epic software.
QPID Groupers adds new functionality to Epic’s electronic health record software and is delivered to providers through a content subscription service.
“The QPID Groupers for Epic service eliminates the need for hospitals to create and maintain Groupers in-house, meaning that they can get more value from their Epic EHR investment, at lower costs,” Mike Doyle, QPID Health president and CEO, said in a statement.
According QPID Health’s official statement, the upload tool was built by Epic, and the upload itself takes minutes to complete. In addition, the content will be regularly updated as needed, and any required maintenance will be carried out by QPID Health staff.
