Dell presented new research from its Global Technology Adoption Index (GTAI) and unveiled its latest monitor this week at the 2016 HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas.
The research focused on how healthcare organizations compare with decision makers in other industries from around the world. For example, cost savings was No. 5 on healthcare teams’ list of IT expectations, but cost savings is No. 1 across all industries overall.
The new monitor, the Dell Medical Review 22 Monitor MR2217, was built specifically for healthcare and includes features such as blacklight stabilization and a 60-degree swivel.
John Mullen, Dell’s vice president and general manager of central region sales, North America Commercial, said in a prepared statement that the company was excited to display these new products at HIMSS.
“Dell works to deliver end-to-end capabilities that healthcare organizations need to operate as efficiently and effectively as possible, solve critical problems, enhance patient care and unleash innovation,” Mullen said. “At HIMSS, we will put a spotlight on important trends affecting the industry and how we are building open, capable and affordable future-ready infrastructures that allow customers to address demands of tomorrow.”
